Email Campaign Approval User Role and Process

I am proposing a user role and workflow similar to the existing content approver/content requester setup except for email campaigns. Currently, all users in the "recruiter" role have access to all email functions, including creating and sending. I would prefer oversight into any email campaigns sent to a list of people to proofread/edit and ensure they are compliant with brand guidelines and helpful and easily readable by our candidates. The recruiter could draft an email using one of our email templates and submit for approval. After it's approved by an administrator (or approver depending on how you want to set it up), the email could be sent out.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

Approve any emails before they are sent out; protect brand integrity and reputation; ensure consistent, accurate, helpful communication to candidates

Thanks for taking the time to submit this suggestion Kendall.

Whilst the addition of an approval process to the email campaigns functionality is not currently on the product roadmap, I can see the value of this in terms of ensuring quality control of the output being sent to candidates. With that in mind, I will discuss further with the engineering team in due course.
